  • An adjustment or Spinal Manipulation Therapy involves a controlled, high-velocity, low-force maneuver applied to specific joints. This targeted force aims to promote healthy motion within the joint, resulting in reduced pain, decreased restriction, improved range of motion, and increased joint function.

  • The audible "popping/cracking" noise during an adjustment is the release of gases from the joint. Synovial joints, encased in a fluid-containing capsule, experience a change in pressure when the adjustment moves the two joint bones. This alteration causes the release of gases—carbon dioxide, oxygen, and nitrogen—resulting in the characteristic cracking or popping sound.

  • Relief! I treat with a diversified technique, incorporating soft tissue therapy, cupping, SMT, etc. It's normal to feel some soreness the night or day after the session. • During a postpartum initial, a detailed history is gathered about your pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum symptoms/experience. From that, a physical examination is performed to see what compensation patterns are lingering since pregnancy, check core strength, glute function, breathing patterns and pelvic floor function. Hands on treatment is performed in the same appointment and is based upon your physical findings. After the hands-on treatment, we go through exercises specific to your presentation. After which, information and a summary of those exercises will be emailed to you.
